Frog Eggs

Description

On a nice walk through the forest, I came across two little ponds with tons of frog eggs. Quite an interesting sight, seeing these jelly-like blobs floating around!

A little later I encountered an oil beetle, which apparently can cause serious skin irritation from releasing an oily substance that contains a poisonous chemical. It’s part of a larger family called blister beetles, given that their poison apparently causes blistering of the skin. Good thing I didn’t touch it…
