Description
A boat trip from Baarn to Huizen, along the Eem river, Eemmeer, and Gooimeer. This boat trip is organized by a non-profit organization De Eemlijn, and is run entirely by volunteers. It’s a nice way to see the river and lakes and the surrounding “polders” from the water, while learning some interesting local history. Huizen has a very picturesque harbor area and old village center, which are both worth strolling around for a while.
