Description
Today is one day before the winter solstice, and one day after a full moon. I managed to get up early enough to walk up to my favorite viewing point above the vineyard to watch the sun rise in the east, as far to the south as it will get all year, while the moon was setting in the opposite direction.
After some rain overnight, the morning sky was as clear and crisp as it gets around here. A bit chilly, but well worth it!
