Description
I always like to go and see the moon rise one day before an actual full moon, as it will come up about one hour before sunset. That way it will already be a little higher up when there is still some (last) daylight left, but it will look pretty much full anyway (at least 98%).
Last night I went to the Donau (Danube) river in Vienna and walked around a bit to get some nice shots of the moon rising right next to the Donau City Tower. Due to the rather thick haze on the horizon, the moon only became visible (and at first only very faintly) after it had already risen some distance above the horizon. But then the views were simply perfect! Here are some impressions from the sunset and the moonrise last night.
