Whim of the Week – 55

The cat’s whiskers.

Still visiting Ben-Gurion University in Be’er Sheva, Israel. It seems to be a really wonderful place. Even the many stray cats that are wandering around here are treated well. This one is just waiting for its personal driver to return.


But the students are not forgotten either. In fact, there are many signs all over the campus reminding everyone of why we are actually here.


Or perhaps life as a student or academic is not quite the cat’s whiskers, so we need a little bit of luck once in a while…

In an effort to continue looking at the bright side of life in these worrying times, the Whim of the Week series features sometimes funny or unusual, sometimes beautiful or inspiring, but generally whimsical observations I happen to capture on camera during my wanderings around the world.
