Palma de Mallorca, Spain

17 March 2017

A day to explore the town of Palma de Mallorca. The old town is fun to get lost in, and a little boat tour through the harbor provides nice views from the water.

Of course the main attraction of Palma is its impressive cathedral.

A view across the Badia de Palma (the bay).

The catherdral as seen from the water, with the mountains in the background.

The Castell de Bellver on top of the hill.

The stairs leading up to the Castell.

And the castle itself.

A view across the Badia de Palma from the castle.

And the hills on the other side.

A panoramic view from the castle (scroll to see it all).

A must-have picture: the cathedral just before sunset.

My flight out of Palma at the end of the trip was in the evening, which provided a beautiful view over the city just after sunset. A fitting goodbye.
