Lurgrotte Peggau, Austria

28 December 2016

Just 20km north of Graz is the Lurgrotte Peggau, a beautiful limestone cave. Since it was a cold & cloudy day today, this was a perfect alternative to see some impressive natural beauty underground.

Entering into the cave.

That's a bat hanging upside-down and all wrapped up in its own wings. There were plenty more of them hanging all over the place.

Chocolate & vanilla sorbet, anyone?

"The Three Pinnacles", named after a famous mountain range in South-Tyrol, of which you can see a picture in the background (on the right).

There's another bat hanging there, if you can spot it...

And finally, "The Prince".
