Whim of the Week: In an effort to continue looking at the bright side of life in these worrying times, I've started a series of whimsical observations with funny, unusual, or inspiring things I happen to capture on camera during my wanderings around the world.

Upcoming travels

After taking two months off with lots of wonderful traveling and hiking all over Europe, I have now started my second year at the KLI. More travels coming up though, but mostly work related.

7-20 Jun 2017: Oxford, Sheffield & Newcastle, England, to visit several colleagues.

17-21 Jul 2017: Tübingen, Germany, to visit a colleague.

10-15 Sep 2017: Sopron, Hungary, to attend a Systems Chemistry meeting.

2-20 Oct 2017: Tokyo, Japan (tentatively), to visit ELSI and attend a computational chemistry workshop there.

5-10 Nov 2017: Wadern, Germany, to attend a Dagstuhl meeting on computational chemistry.

13-30 Nov 2017: Beer Sheva, Israel (tentatively), to collaborate with a colleague at the Ben Gurion University.
