Sitting out a couple of rainy days in Split. After a quick look around in the old town (Diocletian's Palace), I headed up into Marjan park, a wooded hill covering the western end of the Split peninsula. Due to the rainy weather there was hardly anyone else there, so it actually was a very quiet and peaceful walk. You can easily spend a couple of hours wandering around in this park (which I did, despite the weather).

The next day I went on a little boat to Trogir, a historical town just north of Split. Not so much for the town, but mostly to have some views of Marjan park and the coastal mountains from the water. Still very cloudy and rainy, but nice anyway.

Took a local bus back to Split, but by now it was really pouring down, so no views on the way back...
